    BEWARE OF SPOILERS

Since I started watching Luther, I've found myself drawn to the Luther character andhis complexities. I found myself on the edge ofmy seat many timeswhen it comes to the cases of the week as well as the actions Luther takes in bringing the cases to a close. But I also gotattached the status quo of the serieswith him being the brilliant but slightly unstable detective, the cops close to him being the honest, stable ones, and Luther in atwisted romantictriangle with his ex-wife Zoey and the murderous Alice Morgan. But this fifth episode blew that status quo apart with Reed's shocking betrayal and Zoey's tragic demise. I tell you all right now thatI without a doubt have no idea what's going to happen next andthe onlyshows that are capable of making me feel that way are what I considered great shows. And Luther is that.

Does anyoneknow if the show's going to end with the season finaleor if it's going to be renewed for a second season?

I share your response to this awesome episode
After the episode ended it was hard for me to believe that so much had happened in just 1 episode. The next episode seems like a joy ride again ,with Alice coming in to help Luther in full gusto. is it not some thing like a movie ? Good cop trying to prove his innocence but I have full confidence the execution is going to be brilliant. Fingers Crossed!!

I really hope, there will be a second season. It's too good, to only have 6 episodes.

In the 6th, when Luther proves Reed is guilty he should give him a gun with one bullet. You know what's next. At least I hope for this outcome.

    Silly question time.

The maid in the hotel room that Ian shot up. Was she hit. I thought Ian narrowly missed her but I was unsure. Thanks.

BTW, it was a good episode.
