    Anyone got any ideas why Mr. Andersons career hasn't moved on to the big screen like it has for Bruce McGill who played Jack Dalton in the series. You would think he would have been a decent movie actor but he's been stuck on TV with MacGyver and StarGate SG-1. Not that this is a bad thing...

    Yeah, it's probably more convenient from an actor's perspective... the pay is probably worse, but it's more secure.

    Anyway, I'd rather see RDA in weekly TV episodes than full-feature movies. In TV shows you have much more time and opportunities to develop a character really deeply, and RDA is just brilliant in playing such characters. I think RDA and TV shows are a perfect match.

    Money isn't an issue for him, it's just the work he does and the people he works with, he wasn't even sure if he wanted to do Stargate sg1, but he tried and was on it for 8 years. but you do have a point.
