  • I really like the banter

    8.6
the dialogue between Jamie and Paul is really great especially when they are just in the kitchen cooking or having breakfast and having the fun banter which shows their love, for this reason i really like this episode as when they talking about the 'hello' incident they do it in funny way, it may seem like a simple thing as there are mnay funny things in the season and i love this show but the chatting between the two is really funny, light and nice to watch. however i do prefer the episode without famous people the ones where it's just normal people going about normal lives.moreless
  • A good episode, but doesn't it betray the premise of the show?

    7.6
Mad About You was supposed to be a sitcom about a young, urban couple. Halfway through its first season we get two episodes after each other with the gimmick of a famous guest star. In the Billionaire Jerry Lewis was allowed to do his shtick, in this one Regis Philbin becomes the center of the episode. Although the story line itself was cleverly constructed and the show had some decent one-liners, you couldn't help but get the feeling that the producers were trying to save a show by injecting famous names. Perhaps they should have put this episode further away from The Billionaire, perhaps they should have invented a talk show host instead of using Regis.moreless
