Why? Because its being forced into a formula. How much canned laughter do you need? It looks like a poor attempt of a remake. Is it H.I.M.Y.M. ? Mad About You? What?

Lucky for you, it appears the show won't be getting a second season. Just checking the ratings for it, and it's down to about 6.5 million now, and basically has gone done every week since it debuted at 8.7 million. I don't see it getting picked up at least.

Anyways, it's not a big hit if it does. I like this show, but I like it because of it's cast. With the exception of Jason Biggs (don't watch movies) I was already fond of everyone else's work. It's problem definitely relies in it's unoriginality, but it can still make me laugh once a scene, so as long as the cast remains the same and the humor doesn't take a big hit, I'll watch it.

The show is about how Connie and Larry get together. Where does the show go once they hook up?

I agree that the show is completely unoriginal but its not 'horrible'.. its watchable at least. Tyler Labine is very funny but this show isn't as good as 'Sons of Tucson' or 'Reaper' and will likely share their fate of cancellation. I hope he finds a niche somewhere on TV or in the movies because I think he is a talent.

I love Sarah Chalke in Scrubs but dont care for her on this show or in HIMYM, both characters seem vanilla and lack the quirkiness of Elliot Reed. Jason Biggs is just bland and really adds nothing to this show.

i do agree that there's nothing particularly special about it but for reasons unknown i still like it. obviously Larry is the character to like...Jason Brigg's is kinda lame and Sarak Chalke is pretty annoying at times. but i don't think it's trying to be anything (HIMYM or anything else). not sure how long it can last with 1.5 interesting characters...:s we'll monitor i guess.
