Don: (looking at a whiskey ad) Can you believe this? What is the world coming to?
Sal: That is a big bottle.
Don: That's not a bottle, that's a date.
Sal: My oh my, what a big bottle you have.
Don: Sorry honey, but I'm taken. I just pawned my typewriter so we can be together all weekend.
Shelly: We're heading to Haussners for dinner.
Haussners was a German restaurant in Baltimore city that was a must see and in the 1960's was very hard to get into.
Don: You ever heard of James Hoffa?
James (Jimmy) Hoffa was the president of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters who was convicted of jury tampering and bribery in 1964 and later disappeared in 1975.
Sal: Our worst fears lie in anticipation. That's not me, that's Balzac.
Balzac is French novelist and playwright, Honore de Balzac.
