  • WELL, THAT WAS... SOMETHING

Mad Men "The Crash" Review: Uppers Give You Wings!

"The Crash" was a jumbled mess of narratives bouncing off one another at a breakneck speed that seemed to reaffirm the cynicism of the late '60s, as well as the cynicism of Don Draper and how easily it spreads to everyone he interacts with.

  • Episode Summary

The creative department has a wild, drug-influenced weekend as they work on the Chevy account, Don has trouble letting go of Sylvia, and Sally walks in on an unwelcome intruder.

    • The Crash

      8.5
One of the best episodes so far this season. A little over the top with the shot, and the effect it had, but it got the characters to address their issues, and finally generated some real work being done around the office.

      Very entertaining, albeit weird, episode.
    • Don is falling

      9.0
Don is going down and I keep waiting for the crash. His life is falling apart. But, I did like that he assured Sally that she did no wrong and it was his fault that he left the door least he was honest and concerned. IN general, he gets an F for being a father as he is not thinking about his kids.
