While I felt that this episode was pretty mediocre, it did strike me as odd that this installment seemed more like a movie than an episode of a television show. There was 60's music, transitions and Carla talks exactly like an African American from that era would. She and Pete Campbell are pretty much the only characters who seem to make the show believable.

If Double M wants to get back on track we need to see less Betty Draper. For the fourth week in a row she did nothing but mope around and complain. The actress portraying her is not strong enough to take on such a large role and we need to digress back to Season 1 where she was kept to a minimum.

Pete got some screen time and that helped me score this episode a little bit higher, but the show is just in a really boring state right now.moreless
