  • While some bits can be funny, there can be a lot of misses before you find yourself laughing.

By far, MAD has made a name for themselves as being among the top for parodies and making fun of others in their magazines, but when they are left to make a show for teens and tweens, they really have to tone down what they can do. They try to find middle ground with topics that kids would understand, but it often leads to repeated stories and characters over and over.

Animation in this show can really vary from being decent to downright trash.

The two main plots in this episode was "Pooh Grit" being a play on "True Grit," and "Not-a-Fan-a-Montana" making fun of of Miley Cyrus. The Hannah Montana Skit was rather pointless making references over and over to Justin Bieber and old Looney Tunes cartoons. Animation was rough, and cut out. "Pooh Grit" was better as it captured the hundred acre wood, and made jokes everywhere from the Tootsie Pop Owl, Tron, the original True Grit, and to making fun of the shows cast.

The highlight was "Pooh Grit" and the rest of the episode was rather forgettable. Maybe if this show was given a broader topic, instead of just pop culture for kids and tweens, it might be better.moreless
