This was a great show. Made in Canada (lliterally) and it was actually GOOD! It'd be great if they brought it back because it was entertaining. A lot of sarcastic humor I guess you could call it. Very funny. Creative stories for each episode. Shouldn't have been cancelled. BRING IT BACK!!
A satirical look at a media production company, from a Canadian point of view. For some reason Canada does satire well compared to its American neighbours. Maybe Canadians have more to be angry about. Or maybe they have learned to channel their anger into satire indirectly, since they are in essence mice sleeping beside a big elephant. THere are a lot of inside jokes, lots of poking fun at themselves, lots of cultural jabs and political swipes. It's a show that really doesn't take itself too seriously, or its content too seriously. I wish more TV were like that, and that the show was still on.moreless
Made In Canada was a slick and cynical look at the world of television production-Canadian syle. Great writing and an excellent cast helped this show poke fun at anything and everything having to do with popular entertainment. Lots of inside jokes were a hallmark of this show. Bonus points for not having a laugh track.
Made in Canada delves into the world of office politics, and weasly corporate dealings. It is based on the supposedly fictional Pyramid productions, one of Canada's most sucessful media production companies. Betrayal, back-stabbing, and sleeping with amoreless
Made in Canada is by far the greatest television show ever created. With perfect blends of sarcasm, and un-conventional humour, Made in Canada shatters the mold of conventional sitcoms. The interaction of characters and events perfectly fits into well written plots, and an even better sense of humour. It can be appreciated by Canadians and American alike.
