Made in Heaven is a dramatic series produced by Granada Television for ITV. It consists of four one-hour episodes that originally aired weekly from July 24, 1990 to August 14, 1990. The names of the individual episodes are "Best of Enemies," "Falling for Love," "The Big Match" and "A Fair Mix-up." The main storyline involves Steve Nicholson (Tim Bentinck) and Helen Nicholson (Louisa Rix.) Steve is an ex-football player who is estranged from Helen, although the couple is still married. They start a wedding agency in the upscale Covent Garden district of London that specializes in theme weddings. Their agency becomes surprisingly successful, and each wedding is different. The couple must carry out the wedding plans of eccentric clients while dealing with the turmoil in their personal lives.
