Episode Summary

EDIT

Donovan and Nolan ask Martina, an avid and knowledgeable football fan, to help the firm secure a new client. Doug Hartsock, a promising high school quarterback, lost his chance at a pro career due to multiple concussions. His coaches may have ignored his injuries and thus could be culpable in the loss of Doug's career. Meanwhile, a problem in Accounting at Stark & Rowan delays Martina's first paycheck.

This show had potential, after winning another case Martina gets her first pay check. For me this was another great episode, given the chance this show would have been a success. But there was no time for character development, just my opinion, am i the only one watching this

If I hadn't been hooked from the first episode on, this one would have made if for me. I'm still not over the shock that Made in Jersey got cancelled. I loved its more lighthearted tone, I'm not always in the mood for complicated drama although MiJ provides enough of that but with an outlook to a positive resolve. Sure, that may not be realistic but it sure is entertaining. I love each and every character and couldn't wait to get more glimpses from them. I'm really sad that there won't be no more Made in Jersey, it would have made it to my List of Favorites, easily.moreless

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Oliver Watson's testimony was objected to as hearsay. However, it was not offered as evidence of the truth of what the coaches said, but only as evidence that they said it. This make it a "Verbal Act", not hearsay. It's perfectly allowable to testify about a verbal act.

  • QUOTES (1)

    • Martina: Hey Riv. Frank.
Officer Frank: Wait you kidding me? She won the office football pool?
      River: Two weeks straight.
Martina: Frank seems a little overly surprised, Riv.
      River: That's because Frank's not a believer.
Officer Frank: What's your system. ma'am? You pick the team with your favorite colored jersey?
      River: Careful brother, she bites.
Martina: It's a little more scientific than that, Frank. You know, ah, a cowboy can shoot a cardinal a buccaneer can kill a dolphin, so on. Donut?
      Officer Frank: It's a bagel.
Martina: Same difference, hole in the middle.
