    • The German episode titles are "Im Angesicht des Todes" ("In the Face of Death") and "Eine andere Welt" ("Another World"). The French title is "Du côté de chez Mac", meaning "Alongside Mac". The Italian title is "Limbo".

    • Lance LeGault is credited without his character's name on-screen for this episode, but Andy Dupree gets credited as 'Lt. Green's Aide', missing the 'e', on the closing credits. But additionally to that, there seems to be a mis-credit over Greene's rank -– he's a Colonel, not a Lieutenant.

    • This was intended to be the series' finalé, but fan support and Tom Selleck's agreeing to return ended up bringing the show back for one more season. The episode was re-edited to make certain it was clear that Magnum was still alive.

    • "Looking For Space" by John Denver is played repeatedly during this episode.
