When the men's Olympic champion, Austin Tucker, begins temporarily training at The Rock, egos clash when he tries to move the girls' equipment. To settle the matter between the male and female athletes, Sasha decides the two must compete for gym space, but there's a catch – the girls must perform on the men's apparatuses and vice versa. With Payson unsure about her future in the gymnastics world, Kaylie, Emily and Lauren are forced to face the men on their own. Will they be able to beat the boys and have the gym they made famous remain theirs? And will Payson choose to fight for her dream, or forever leave the sport that destroyed her?moreless

Reverse competition

For so early in the season this episode was really lacking. Lauren continued to scheme to no avail and it appears that she will never learn her lesson even as she sees her actions negatively affecting her. Her grandmother called her out for having no class and she felt like she had no friends after choosing Carter over her relationship with Kaylie. Carter is the most boring character and hopefully they will slowly phase him out of the show, he's played his part and no longer has anything interesting to offer. Payson continued to be headstrong and was really insensitive to her mother even though she saw the right path in the end.

The girls versus boys competition was entertaining, but pointless.

The inevitable flirtation between Kaylie and the new bad boy at the gym just isn't very intriguing.moreless
