Show Summary

Making News: Savannah Style is an intriguing reality show that films the media activities of WJCL and WTGS in Savannah, Georgia. The show follows the everyday workings and issues of the lowest rated news department in the Savannah television market. The production of the documentary show also discusses the local competing stations WTOC (the highest rated news department in the market) and WSAV. Throughout the unique show, people will learn the painstaking and fast pace nature of the journalistic world and the dedication it takes to run an efficient and successful newsroom. Viewers will also get an exclusive look at the interesting competition between local news stations and how they strive to get the interesting story first. The show's thirteen episodes, produced by Nick Davies, are each an hour-long and ran for one special season. It originally appeared on the TV Guide Network in 2007 and became the highest-rated original series in the network's history.
