If Malcolm is a genius, then how come he couldn't figure out that he can just say "yeah" during the scene where Lois was asking "yes or no?"
The couple, where the guy was interrupted by the acting crew hired by Otto while proposing to his girlfrend, is the same couple from season 4 episode 18 (Reese's Party) where Lois also interrupted him during his proposal.
When the camera shows Hal and the boys at the dinner table after finding out Ida will be moving to China, we can see a blue globe in the background. When the camera comes back to them a second time, it's gone!
Lois: You're moving to China? Ida: I know. Chickens in the street, children in the sweatshops, everyone smokes. It's a dream come true.
(Malcolm is scrubbing the toilet) Lois: There's still dirt under the rim. Malcolm: I've been scrubbing for an hour. It's not coming off. Lois: Well, since you don't care about your tongue, maybe you could use that to clean the toilet.
Ida: If he still has his teeth and is good in bed, why wait? (Malcolm gets disgusted) Oh, I forgot, this one doesn't like girls. Malcolm: Grandma, I'm not gay. Ida: That's right, I'm just a liar.
Ida: (to Lois) You have your father's breasts.
Lois: Mom, Jamie's got your cigarettes. Ida: Who the hell is Jamie? Lois: Your grandson. Ida (to Mr. Li): We wouldn't name them till we were sure they'd survive.
Woman: I'm sorry, ma'am, we don't allow smoking in the hotel. Ida: Back off, you cow! This is my special day.
Louis: When we get home, I'm going to pull that thing out with a pair of pliers.
Ida: (to Mr. Lee as he leaves her) You can't leave me now! I'm pregnant! Oh! Oh... (sobbing)
Malcolm: Grandma be drugging the man from China!
Listen Closely: Near the end, when Ida is attempting to bring back her "groom," after her "groom" comes down from the mood elevators, she screams, "I am pregnant!"
Cold Open: Jamie is throwing a ping pong ball at Hal's head. Hal is seems to be enjoying it, so Reese throws a basketball at his head.
Cloris Leachman (Ida) is credited as a Special Guest Star.
