  • Wow, it was okay.

Malocolm is such a weirdo. Man, I tell you what. He is so awkward with girls that it embaresses me to even watch him. If I were him, I would have better game. But getting back to the show, I thought this one had some good comedy and some good acting. I thought that Allison was hot, but I thought that her character was unoriginal. The lines were so cheap and seen in other shows that it was not very funny. Overall, I have to admit this episode had some decent stuff. The plots and storyline was good, but it was actually quite dull in some areas. Thank you.moreless
  • I liked it!

When Malcolm has a crush on a girl, Allison, Reese helps him out by teaching him how not to think so hard. Malcolm then becomes very irresponsible and doesn't think. Stevie is staying with Malcolm's family while his parents are away. Francis helps out Otto by pointing out to him a fake salesman. Francis gets the money back. When Lois catches Malcolm with beer and Allison, his loss of brain use gets him into trouble. Hal rents a steam roller with lottery money, but Dewey saves him from becoming too addicted.

This episode was great! I loved watching Hal crush things! That was awesome! This episode gets a 10 out of 10!moreless
  • Malcolm the idiot!

This episode is really cool, Malcolm begins to act like an idiot in order for him to be with his crush, Allison, that apparently does not likes him because of thinking too much, but when Malcolm requests Reese's help, he manages to like Allison but begins to act just like Reese, this is such a cool episode, and is really funny everything because Malcolm can't even think for himself and everything, and je just does not know what to do when Lois discovers him drunk, well what a great episode!moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • Stevie continually calls Lois by her name rather than by saying "Mrs. (whatever her last name is)" in order to preserve the show's rule of not saying it.

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Alison: You know what I don't get about football? How come the away team has so many different uniforms?
Reese: I don't know. Rich kids.

    • Piama: Honey, listen. I would love to hear about this, but I kinda told my boss I'm not trailer trash and you're blowing my cover.
Francis: These little cuts and bruises?

    • Reese: Want some punch?
Kid: If I say 'yes', you're just gonna hit me.
Reese: I'm gonna hit you anyway, but it's funnier when you say 'yes'.

    • Lois: Stevie, any girl would be lucky to be your girlfriend. You're polite, you're considerate and you're very clean. Girls go crazy for that.

    • Malcolm: Who do you think invented the spoon?
      Reese: Spoony Spoonicus.

    • Francis (on the phone): Malcolm, you gotta help me! Is there a scientific way to prove if ice cream can be used as sunscreen?
      Malcolm: Is it chocolate?
Francis: Does it make any difference?
Malcolm: It's browner than the non-chocolate stuff.
Francis: Uhh, Malcolm, you didn't find that coffee can in the garage by any chance, did you?

  • NOTES (4)

    • This is the first episode to feature recurring character, Alison (Brittany Finamore).

    • The song playing while Hal is at the liquor store while buying the lottery tickets is "Habiby Ya Nour El Ein" for the Egyptian super star "Amr Diab." This album debuted 1996 and made him the best selling artist in the Middle East that year.

    • Cold Open: Lois gives Reese a cold stare, which causes him to admit to several things she wasn't even trying to find out, as she only wanted to tell him his clothes don't match.

    • Music featured in this episode:
"Habiby Ya Nour El Ein" by Amr Diab
      (When Hal buys lottery tickets).
"Here Without A Home" or "I Stand For You" by Nick Carter from 2002 album, "Now Or Never."
      (First Dance Song)
"To All The Girls" by Aaron Carter from 2002 album, "Another Earthquake."
      (Second Dance Song)

    • Francis mentions a coffee can in the garage while talking to Malcolm (whose brain is turned off). This could possibly mean that Francis (and perhaps the other brothers) stash drugs (most likely marijuana) there and possible have circles like on "That '70s Show." Given the comparable dysfunction of Malcolm/Lois and Eric/Red, there's a good possibility.
