  • Very funny!

When Reese joins the wrestling team, he gets beat by a girl. Then, he starts being nice to everybody and stops being the school bully. At first, things are great at school, but then Malcolm gets beat up by people who were too scared to because of Reese. Later, the whole school is mad when everybody is bullying everyone around. The nerds convince Reese to step up and be the school bully again. It's Francis's birthday and he is scared of the other guys at school. It's a tradition that whenever it's someone's birthday, they shave all the hair off the birthday boy's body. Lois and Hal feel bad about not letting him come home, so they send him a gift basket, which reveals to everyone that it's his birthday.

This episode was awesome! It was so funny with Reese's comeback! He has some creative ways of beating people up! This episode gets a 10 out of 10!moreless
  • A classic of Malcolm in the Middle

After being beaten up by a girl, Reese loses his joy of hitting other people, and Malcolm gets tormented by the kids that he think that like him. As everyone finds out, when Reese left his post of the bully the whole school turn into a complete chaos, and now Malcolm and the Krelboynes are trying to make Reese came back to the dark side.

This episode is the best episode of Season 2, along with Malcolm vs. Reese, and Bowling, because it shows what happens when one single person stop bullying the others, and well is great.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • If you pause at 2:39 and briefly thereafter, you can clearly see that Reese is suspended in the ground to achieve the effect being bent in half. Furthermore, unless a person is well beyond double jointed, being subject to that move would cause incredible damage.

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Rick: Remember me? 'Moby Rick'? (sarcastic) That was so hilarious.
Malcolm: I never called you Moby Rick. I called you Rickapotamus, although...
      (Rick punches him)

    • Malcolm: Those guys are nuts. I'm funny!... Aren't I funny?
Lloyd: To be honest, you can be a little caustic.
      Stevie: The word... is arrogant.
Dabney: How about bitter, sarcastic and handsome?
(Lloyd and Stevie turn to look at him)
Dabney: (points somewhere) Hey, she's cute.

    • (as Reese is walking in a hospital room)
Reese: Hi, I'm here to read to you.
Patient: Oh, when I heard you were coming I just was so excited.
Reese: Well, they said that terminal patients really get a lift from this.
(the patient gets a weird look on his face)
      Patient: Terminal?!
(Reese sits there for a few seconds)
Reese: You know what, I'm in the wrong room. To think of it, I'm in the wrong hospital.
      Patient: NURSE, NURSE!!!

    • Malcolm: You talking about joining a club, Reese!
Reese: My name isn't Reese anymore.
      Malcolm: Then what is it?
Reese: I don't remember, but it's not Reese!

    • Students (chanting): Reese! Reese! Reese!
(Reese is posing while the principal grabs him)
Reese: Ah, let go of me... oh, ok I'm going, I'm going!

    • Dewey: Is Reese a girl now?
Malcolm: No, Dewey, he's a lady.
      Reese: Shut up.
      Malcolm: Sorry, ma'am.

    • Lois: Well, that's not fair! What do they expect him to do, beat up a girl?
Reese: I get to beat up a!

    • Reese: I'm sick of beating up little kids. It's creepy.
