Watching The Baby
Hal and the boys offer to watch baby Jamie so an exhausted Lois can finally get some sleep. Hal discovers that the night crew can't stand Craig and starts a mutiny. While the boys are watching Jamie, three beautiful teenage girls arrive and woo Malcolm, Reese and Stevie away for the night, leaving Dewey alone with the baby. • It was funny!

Hal and the boys must watch Jamie while Lois sleeps. Hal goes to get diapers, but he has a hard time with Craig. Hal plots to take down Craig with all the employees. Some girls stop by and ask Malcolm, Reese and Stevie out. They leave Dewey with Jamie. Dewey tells Jamie a story. In it, Lois and Hal have a secret second house and they are rich and Dewey sells Jamie out. The girls need Malcolm, Reese and Stevie because they need to make their boyfriends jealous.

This episode was great! I liked Lois and her growing dustball. The story was pretty good! Francis was good at being a robot. This episode gets a 10 out of 10!moreless
  • Was better than the last one...

Well, this episode was not funny, but at least, it was funnier than the previous episode, Hal goes out to the Lucky Aide and accidentally insults Craig and when he doesn't has money to pay diapers he is force to work for them, while at home, the boys take care of Jamie, but when three beautiful girls arrive, Stewie, Reese, and Malcolm and go out with them, and discover that they are just there in order to give their boyfriends jealousy, but later is Malcolm, Stewie, and Reese the ones who dumped those girls. While Dewey tells a story to Jamie about the members of the family, it was not that great episode, but it has its moments!moreless
  • Another good episoide better then first episoide

The second episoide was slighly better then first, Malcolm and co had to look after the baby, u just knew something was bound to go wrong when those girls turned up. i thought it was stupid of Malcolm not asked why they wanted them but given the fact they were girls i kinda of understand he wasn't thinking with his head. The moment that made me smile was Resse, talk about timing just when he about kiss a girl he finds the baby's dummy and decide to go back home. It's just show u family more important then girls, that a good moto.

i really like Dewy story about his brothers, it nice to see it from his perspective which makes it more intresting, He has got one hell strange imagnation which is what i love about this chacter u just can't help but smile. i liked the ending with the whole family in the limo.

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (2)

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Polly: Oh, my God, I'm supposed to be in court today. I'm filing a restraining order against my sister. She thinks that just because she's my boyfriend's first and third wife, she has some kind of claim on him.

    • Craig: (reading tabloid) When will J-Lo learn? Take it from a bad boy, we're nothing but trouble.

    • Lois: (talking to baby Jamie) Jamie! I should've known. You're in so much trouble, young man. You're grounded, you hear me? That means no TV, no going out with your friends, nothing!

    • Dewey: (to Jamie) So the moral of the story is that I'll screw you over a heartbeat they way my brothers screw me. That's the way things work around here.

    • Dewey: And that's when they realized Mom and Dad had created a secret, good house, which they went to every night when the kids were asleep. Which is why is why they're so obsessed with their bed times, why we never have anything nice and why they always come out of the bedroom smiling!

    • Rich Hal: (grabs remote) Drinks, Francis.
Robot Francis: (activating) You are the worst parents in the world.

  • NOTES (7)

    • Cold Open: Lois is excited that she finally has pictures of Jamie to show off, but all of them are blurry so she cuts out one from a magazine.

    • Featured Music:
      "Sussudio" by Phil Collins
When Hal and the employees take down Craig.

    • As from this episode, David Anthony Higgins will be credited as Dave Higgins.

    • Dave Higgins receives the "And" credit.

    • Julie Hagerty (Polly) does not appear in this episode in syndication, as the scene with her is cut out.

    • The manner of which the night-shift employees take down the cardboard cutout of Craig Feldspar is similar to how the U.S. Army took down a statue of Saddam Hussein.

    • This episode was originally written as part of the 4th season, but was never produced. The parts of Vernon, Limo Driver, Elderly Woman, Hindu Man, and Val were cast during the 4th season production period. Val and Joanne were recast at the beginning of the 5th season production period along with the new role of Theresa.

    • Coraline

In Dewey's story, when him and Jamie go into the "trapdoor" in the closet and ends up in a world opposite to his (a different house), it kind of parodies the novel and film, "Coraline", when the main character, Coraline, finds a secret door which leads to another world like hers.
