  • Brilliant! Just brilliant! Hywel Bennett is a seriously underrated actor.

I wonder if those who gave this a low score really watched this series or just saw parts of it. Or are they perhaps not recollecg it very well? It was hands down the best thing I've watched on TV besides Fawlty Towers. The story was riveting, the suspense tantalising and the performances of the actors, especially Bennett with his cool as a cucumber demeanour, unapproachably good. You could have cut the atmosphere with a knife. Only the BBC could have produced something of this calibre. Hats off to the Beeb and to all the cast. It's quite amazing what can be done with just a few TV cameras and studio sets.moreless
  • I get a funny feeling whenever I watch Malice Aforethought on tv. It sends a chill up my spine in a way that I can't quite describe.

I get a funny feeling whenever I watch Malice Aforethought on tv. It sends a chill up my spine in a way that I can't quite describe. This time, it's no exception. When I picked this up during my visit to Blockbuster, I knew I was in for a treat as I have been so many times felt before. I was right! If you haven't gotten this yet, beg, steal, buy or do whatever you need to get it. You won't regret it.
