  • How can I see this episode?

I was fortunate enough to be cast in this episode. Although I was one of the grandma's in the contest, my special talent was hilarious and we tried over and over to capture it, but we kept having problems. I was the grandma who was playing bass and whistling to the song, "Big Noise from Winnetka" (written by Bob Haggartt) and at the very end of the song, as the music stops, my special talent was making my right pinky toe cross over the toe next to it without the use of hands. I've been doing that trick since i was a little girl. Anyways, what made it funny was the bass made out of a trash can, the look on my face while doing it, and the amazing toe trick which was filmed while the camera zoomed in right at the final note of the song as my toe crossed over the other. You gotta see it to believe it. Anyway, i'd love to show my grandchildren this episode and cannot find it anyplace. Please help as they are down to one grandmother, and really want to see some of my contributions to show biz. Thanks and by the way, all the stars of the show were extremely cordial and friendly as my son and daughter got to spend time with some of them. Even Vicki made a little time for them. I was the grandma in the purple dress with red hair. Ok hope to hear from someone in regards to this. Thanks, Micki Varro
  • Mama's entered in the Grandma USA pageant & she's the only contestant who really looks like a grandmother...

Bubba enters Mama in the Grandma USA pageant but puts in Naomi's picture instead. After some argument with Eddie Edwards, the pageant's host, Mama gets to compete in the pageant. All the other grandmothers are thin & mute while Thelma's a full figured loud mouth. When the other contestants do tap numbers, she belts out a tune. When they arrive in their swimsuits, she leaves her robe on and smacks the host's hand when he tries to take it off. The audience loves her and she ends up a finalist but while the other finalists are asked typical beauty pageant fare, she's asked "How old are you?". I love her response to this: "And the answer's none of your damn business!!" She also gets creeped out by Grandma Francine jutting her fake breasts out for the judges & protests as we all would when she is first runner up to this person.

Watching Mama try to learn the pageant walk is hilarious.
