As with a lot of episodes in this series, the "Tri-State area" is mentioned. If we are to assume that Mama and her family live in Raytown, MO (as noted on the license plate in one episode), then there is only one area where three states would meet near Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. However, Raytown, MO is an actual city in the suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri. The border of Nebraska is around 120 miles from this location. Seems like a long way for Bubba to drive to be testing products in the "Tri-State area."
Mama comes back from Ray-Mart and is mad about not being able to return the blender. Before she sits down, she unbuttons the top button of her sweater. A couple moments later, she is shown and it is re-buttoned, but she never touched it. She even undoes it a second time.
(Mama is telling how she wants production value)
Mama: No more nice Granny Harper.
Vint: Gee Mama, when were you nice?
Mama: I have always been nice, dope face!
(Vint is playing with the dump truck, and the marbles fall out)
Vint: Now my marbles are all over the floor.
Mama: You lost your marbles years ago, Vint.
(Harrison, Mama, and Vint are talking about working on the show)
Mama: Do you really think Vinton can handle this job?
Harrison: Oh, a child could do it.
Mama: I know, but can he?
Harrison: You're performance today caused quite a stir. Uh, so much so that I talked things over with our lawyer.
Mama: I didn't mean it! I didn't mean a word! I take it all back!
Naomi: She is old! Her mind wanders!
(Iola's report on burger restaurants)
Iola: The Burger Bungalow. Their quarter pound burger actually only weighs a quarter pound, if you include: the bun, the pickles, and a cup of ketchup!
Bubba: I just hope he doesn't sue you for slander.
Mama: Sue me?
Iola: Well Thelma, you did say, and I quote, "The way you stink up the airwaves, someone should check the expiration date on your brain."
The Store where Mama buys the blender is Ray-Mart is a parody of the the Department Store chain K-Mart.
