Iola: Well, I just couldn't wait to tell y'all the excitin' news. I met a man . . .
Naomi: Well that's not exciting; that is down right miraculous.
Mama: I don't know when I've ever seen Vinton so mad in my life. There was a moment there when those cold eyes were fixed on me, I swear, he almost looked like a man.
Vint: Mama, I'm warning you, if you turn your back on me now I'm never gonna speak to you again!
Mama: Just keep talkin' Vinton. You're making this easier and easier.
Sneed: Don't tell anyone about this, not even your family. We wouldn't want them actin' strange.
Mama: Well, I don't think there's any way we can avoid that.
Sneed: Would you be comfortable wearing a wire?
Mama: Are you kiddin'? I'm a 44D. I've been wearing a wire since the sixth grade.
Bubba: Why not grandma? Maybe we could sell him some inventions too.
Vint: Yeah. I've been working on an idea for years.
Mama: Well be patient baby, it'll come to you.
*Vint, Naomi and Bubba show of their new invention, "The Pet Lock"*
Mama: Vinton, you have come up with some lame ideas, but this one qualifies you for handicap parking.
*Iola shows off her new invention, the invalid-turner*
Naomi: Hey baby, maybe you and I better go for a flip in that thing tonight.
Mama: Come to think of it Iola, this could be a big seller with perverts as a secondary market.
