Mama: Who gave you permission to come out of there?!
Vint: Mama, I am a grown man. I do not need your permission. Besides, Naomi said it'd be okay.
(Bubba arrives in the middle of Mama's dinner with the Dames)
Bubba: Grandma, I can't believe it! I got all dressed up, and I forgot my purse.
(Mama finishes ironing Bubba's costume for the play)
Mama: Well, I never thought that I would say this to a grandson of mine, but your dress is ready.
(Mama on her plans to entertain the Dames)
Mama: I will just have an outdoor party, like Merv did!
Iola: Oh, Thelma you don't have a pool.
Mama: Well, I'll just hose down the driveway.
