Robin loses his self-esteem after being unable to defend himself to a mean Irishmen at the pub. Chrissy and Jo try to make him feel better, but he decides he will take on the guy the next time he sees him...
(Robin walks in on Chrissy taking a shower)
Chrissy: Now look, you said you were going to fix that lock.
Robin: I will, I will. As soon as I lose interest in the naked female form.

George: When I'm roused, when I am really roused, I'm capable of anything.
Mildred: Oh yes, you can bite right through a chocolate eclair.

Chrissy: Have you got any terps (i.e. terpentine)?
Jo: No, it's all gone. I used it to clean the frying pan.
Chrissy: Food really doesn't stand much of a chance with you, does it?

While Robin is pondering his own cowardice the radio plays Do Not Forsake Me [The Ballad of High Noon] (words by Ned Washington, music by Dmitri Tiomkin, 1952). The film High Noon deals with a sheriff who has to deal with some cowardly townspeople.
