I love this episode, it is the first one in the series of a great t.v show.
The episode is mainly about Chrissy and Jo finding Robin Tripp in their full bathtub. They nned a flatmate now that their old one, elinor, has moved out after getting engaged. He is a training chef who is staying at the grotty Unions club so it seems a perfecy match ! until the Landlord finds out !!!.To get out of his wet clothes the girls give him one of Elinors old fluffy drerssing gowns.
Another girl, not knowing that the girls had chosen Robin to stay comes to look at the flat just as the landlord comes to complain, mistaking the girl for Robin he starts saying she cant stay. Chrissy explained that she was a girl and Mr Roper doesnt believe her so he gropes !!! and gets a cut on the head!
Robin trys to explain that there will be no naughty stuff going on in the flat, but Mr Roper, the groper still doesnt believe until Chrissy tells them that Robin is gay.

    • Despite both Man About the House and Three's Company having a character called Chrissy, the two are not at all alike. Chrissy Plummer (MATH) is the headstrong lovable brunette (later evolved into Janet Wood) while Jo (MATH) is the ditzy bubbly blonde who later became America's Chrissy Snow. Edit
    • Three's A Crowd would later be the name of the Americanized version of Robin's Nest. Edit
    • This show would later be Americanized into Three's Company. This episode in particular was Americanized and called "Man About the House". Edit
