When McGill arrives at the village his car's number plate reads CMT444A, later we see it as ADD904C.
"All That Glitters" was coupled with "The Bridge" and released on pre-recorded video by ITC in 1993 (Catalogue # 1573).
Derek Newark (Rudy) was also in the episode "Blind Spot", had the role of Maurice.
Edward Underdown (Rankin) had a second outing in the series when he played the part of Maxted in the episode "Night Flight to Andorra".
Duncan Lamont (Tommy) made two appearances in the series. He played the Chauffeur in "Why They Killed Nolan". Incidentally, Richard Bradford's Chauffeur told me that driving Richard had been the most pleasurable job he'd ever had!
The working title for this episode was "Mad Dogs and Englishmen".
The series was filmed in and around Pinewood Studios (mainly sound stages J and K) and on location in London. However, for this particular episode it was decided that a more picturesque location was desired, and the cast and crew decamped to the village of Lower Slaughter in Gloucestershire.
