  • Bear goes over some more glaciers.

While in Pantagonia Bear Gryll's goes over, around and through the Perito Moreno glaciers. He cautions to stay away from ice caves since glaciers can move up to ten feet a day causing extreme pressure on the ice. Bear is then dropped by helicopter into the Pantagonia Step where it is said that the winds have driven men insane. The winds go blow up to 120 miles per hours which can knock a person off their feet. Water is scarce and he shows how to get clean water from the natural springs after animals have drank and used the restroom in the springs. I am looking forward to more shows like these!moreless

    • Bear: (camping out on the steppe) I think the magic of places like this is that everything slows down, and life becomes much more raw. And those things that keep you going in life suddenly become much more prominent.

    • Bear: (inside a glacier's ice tunnel) And these ice tunnels really are... they feel like, kind of, the beating heart of the glacier. It'a almost as if this is, just like a giant artery running straight under all of the ice.

    • Bear: (after stripping off to wring out his soaking wet clothes) If anyone can see me now, they think, 'What the hell is that Englishman doing buck naked in the middle of a flipping Patagonian ice field?!' That's a question I could ask myself, as well.
