  • Should have lasted longer. Maybe.

Mancuso, FBI was a show I thought would last longer than it did. Based on a character who first appeared in the TV mini-series Favorite Son it focused on the cases of a maverick FBI agent played with gusto by Robert Loggia. Loggia, who had seemingly made a career out of playing mobsters, was cast against type here and he did an excellent job. Unfortunately, the scripts were uneven with the culprit quite often being the PC stereotypical rich, white guy and I didn't think the supporting players were quite up to par either. Chalk this one up as being a watchable show which could have lasted longer but for some reason did not. NBC gave it the hook after only one season.moreless
