Show Summary

  • Returning Series
Maple Town Story was an anime produced by Toei Animation and Asatsu during the wonderful age of the 80's. Often you can find more information on it if you search "Maple town Monogatari" since that was its Japanese name. In the US, the series was broadcast on Nickelodeon starting in 1987 and ending in 1993. Maple Town featured a cast of animal characters, mainly young Patty Rabbit (who in the first episode, moves to Maple Town with the rest of her family) and her friend Bobby Bear, and the antics of the hapless criminal Wild Wolf. The show also spawned a line of toys featuring the various animal families, as well as accessories such as houses and cars. In some markets, these toys were called the Sylvanian Families, and are still available in Japan today.moreless
