  • A great farcical comedy

Marblehead Manor was an outstanding comedy series, which only lasted a short time. It expired along with a bunch of shows NBC placed in it’s line up. Paxton Whitehead steals the spotlight in his role of Albert the Butler, a witty yet slightly stuffy servant to the Stonehills (Bob Fraser and Linda Thorson). Whitehead and Fraser were like veteran comedians, with great timing and always a great amount of British type comedy. Linda Thorson’s was the perfect wife and brought some her energy from her old role on the Avengers. Bob Fraser co-created, wrote, produced and starred in this NBC series. This show also had a young Michael Richards as the lovable but slightly dim gardener to the manor. You must see this series to believe it. I only have a few of the episodes on tape, but I want them all.
