  • A great addition to Married...With Children

What I like about the Married...With Children "Worst Noel" episode is Al's attitude towards Christmas and the way that the media changed during the Christmas season. A great example of this is how Al wants to watch Psycho Dad's Christmas episode, or mud wrestling, but all that was on was "It's A Wonderful Life" or Christmas specials with celebrities that he can't stand, an example being him lamenting "Oh, is that Michael Bolton screaming 'Slient Night'? What's next, 'Hark the Harry Angels Sing'?" Another thing that I find great about the episode is how when Peg is trying to watch tv with him is how she stops on every channel listening to what's on, making Al even more irritated about the holiday season. What else I found great about this episode was how both Al and Peg were oblivious to Bud and Kelly trying to get Al's Christmas present (a Jukebox) into the house without them seeing what it was. In all, this was one great episode that made me laugh almost all the way through the episode.moreless

    • (Marcy is very drunk)
Marcy: Okay Al guess who's under the mistletoe?
(Al looks in horror by her question. Marcy gives Al a quick kiss on the cheek)
      Al: Peg she beaked me!

    • Peg: Oh, "I Love Lucy."

Al: I hate Lucy. Fred was the real star. They should have killed Ethel and Lucy and that illegal alien. They should have made Fred a single guy and called it "Mertz's World."

    • Peg: What does "Cheers" have to do with Christmas?
Al: What does NBC have to do with television?

    • Peggy: You're going too fast, I can't... what was that? What was that? What was that?
Al: A "Bewitched" with Dick York, not Dick Sergeant as Darrin, a "Gilligan" where the gorilla comes to the island, a "Full House" Christmas special where they get snowed in at the airport, and the mating habits of the Amazonian catfish with Phillipe, not Jacques Cousteau.
Peggy: You can see all that, but you can't see the rim around the toilet?
Al: I see what I want to see.

    • (Listening to Michael Bolton scream "Silent Night")
Al: What's his next number gonna be? "Hark, the Hairy Angels Sing"?
