  • Dysfunctional, dark, goodness

I feel like this comedy is quite underrated. I'm personally a fan of how hilariously bad and dark they are at sorting their lives and relationships out, yet there's still just enough realism to make it believable and a shred of positivity in appreciating their lives for what it is.

    Also, Judy Greer.

I only saw the first episode, but that was enough. The show was claustrophobic in its sense of a couple trapped in unhappiness, and the lead male was just such an idiot that it's hard to feel much sympathy for his plight.

The show also felt very male-centric, with women there only to give the men something to think about. It reminded me a little of the series Traffic Light, but Traffic Light at least was funny sometimes, while the pilot didn't have a laugh in it.moreless
  • Well, that was painful.

Having a hot wife sounds nice, but one as hot as Judy Greer but doesn't want sex and refers to your c**k as a penis, is a nightmare.

What's Next for FX, Now That Justified and Sons of Anarchy Are Gone?

Without those two tentpoles, the network's programming slate is full of question marks, aging offerings, and a weird mix of good shows with bad ratings and bad shows with solid ratings.
