Freddie Jackson (Tom Hardy) is fresh out of prison, having met a whole host of useful contacts inside, and he's got big plans for his career in crime. • A brutally slow show and some blood to boot. But watch out for Freddie, he is one mean psychopath.

    6.5
A story of two brothers and a brutal one at that. At times I found the show slow, at other times is was creepy.

Tom Hardy who plays Freddie Jackson was an exceptionally good actor playing the part very well. If it wasn't for him I don't think this would of done so well.

The Take was certainly a violent show, but what would you expect for East-End gangsters. At times I felt there was some crossover copying going on from The Godfather trilogy. Thankfully this wasn't as long and as dull as that. And with all things there are the twists. Not exceptional entertainment. But an interesting watch for sure.moreless
