First up, I loved this episode. The story lines are starting to get bigger, are looping in more with the movies and the characters and really rounding out. All the strong female characters, goodies and baddies, is fabulous as well.

However (and spoilers coming) despite Ward and Lorelei being a hot pair and having a steamy sex scene while Ward was under her control, I was totally miffed that no one asked him later if he was ok after being forced to have sex against his will. If it was a male bad guy and a female soldier, we would call it rape. At the end of the episode, Ward was apologising to May for attacking her while under control of Lorelei, but at no point did she or anyone else ask him if he was ok after his ordeal.

Anyway, it's wonderful we have such strong female characters in the show and there's such balance in terms of roles and responsibilities, but that balance should really stretch to all aspects of the show.

Aside from that, fantastic episode. 9/10moreless

Good to see two new characters incorporated, and I hope this is not the end of them on SHIELD. They added much needed energy and beauty as well to the struggling program.

The twist at the end was absurd, but we'll see where they go from here.

The show so far seems like it's starting to get somewhere, hopefully it will gain more footing with more colorful episodes like this one.

Not much to say for this one, it's a simplistic colorful plot once again most of the time that's how I like it. I love the fact that finally were beginning to see the superheroes and villians, for a while they were kinda . from the show. But it looks like their finally arriving, yeah their not the major players but that's not a bad thing, I like the fact that for once were focusing on ones that don't get much spotlight time as opposed to some that I personally feel had too much time in it.

The villainous Lorelei is a soild villain, I really like the actress that plays her she's fraking hot. But the villainous doesn't really have much of a reason, just simply to do whatever she wants by having others do most of the work for her. She has charisma, smart, seductive, manipulative, and insightful; in a way she's sort of like a fem fatale in the noirs, some of them are bad guys that also get the main character in the story to do their will or maneuver them into making a mistake thought there charms.

Even like Seff whom is also fraking hot, she of course is one of fab five in the Thor films, she was always my favorate of that bunch, I really love that we got to see more screen time with her and kick some butt. Just seeing her in action, I can't help but feel Jamie Alexander could've played Wonder Woman she looks like the character. But anyway my favorate action sequence was seeing the sword fight between both her and Lorelei which was soild, but the fact it takes place in a confined space makes it all the more interesting.

To me what makes this stand out is the fact that Ward becomes a servant for Lorelei which raises the stakes but makes it more fun. The only bad thing was the fact Ward didn't pull the trigger on the stun gun once Lorelei was within his parameter, even though he personally knew what she was capable of. I kinda felt with that situation, the writers kinda backed themselves into a corner, because if Ward did pull the trigger there'd be no more episode. But then again Lorelei has the power of seduction with her voice so I can't complain too much.

Anyway down with more of the good, it was fun and a little funny seeing both of them interact. One of the highlights was no doubt that make out scene in Vegas which I thought was erotic fun, even like some of the things she says afterward about how Ward is different from the rest, almost a small hint may'be she has some desire for a particular significant other. Yeah she's a user but who's to say users themselves don't get lonely every once in a while.

However the other was in what Lorelei says to May even thought it was to hurt her it was the truth all the same. The fact that Ward has deeper feelings probably loves another, and of course it's no secret as to who that is, Sky. Personally I'd love for the hook up between both Sky and Ward to happen both of them have I think better chemistry; I know that May and Ward have there thing (though I personaly felt it was kinda tacked on) but both hardly have much to any chemistry. I kinda think May is partially at fault with that, I feel her weakness is the fact she doesn't let herself feel, which is why she didn't or refused open up or let Ward in. It shows why I feel the whole all business mentality is unhealthy, not allowing yourself to feel anything is an awful feeling, sure you can accomplish a lot of tasks but you also bankrupt your personal life.

May is right about one thing about Ward, he does need to be more honest with himself, hopefully he'll follow though with that. It's true that being honest to others can actually be easy, being honest with yourself isn't but it's something you have to do otherwise you can't get what you truly want. Sadly that's something May doesn't do, as we see when Ward leaves after uneasily agreeing both of them were done, we see a pang of emotion in her which kinda made me feel a little bad for her, because we see she actually did have some feelings for her, ones she choose not to listen to.

And of course we see how much further May's dishonesty goes when we see a twist where she then takes a call and reports about Coleson knowing about himself and the drug. The twist makes sense because despite how much time she's been on the show, we don't really know May, so the question is she a traitor or not, was that call from some level in Shield or Centepede.moreless

Lady Sif from Asgard heads down to Earth to team up with SHIELD in protecting the world from rogue Asgardian Lorelei, who uses sexual charms on men to form her army to take over the world. Things get complicated when one of the men she charms is Ward. When you have a show, made by Marvel, featuring a character from the Thor movies that needed a ton more screen time, you know this show is getting more awesome than ever! Jamie Alexander finally gets her chance to shine in her role, and she whoops it! Plot twists involving Coulson's miracle drug is getting more insane by the minute, and if this is leading up to what looks like Marvel's next masterpiece, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, then Marvel is currently the most awesome film studio in the business! Nuff said!moreless
