Thumbs down for this sorry episode. Impossible Man trying to make a movie by using Falcon as a star role. He also wanted to film Falcon and the Avengers to battle different opponents. Impossible Man also wanted to test them to see if they can handle the Chitauri invasion. The real target is Impossible Man that Chitauri wanted.. In the end Falcon try to convince Impossible Man that he should be the star to defeat the Chitauri. This episode was a let down, and I believe the writers should write something better than this.moreless

So this is basically an episode trying really hard to ape the Bat-Mite eps of BTBATB and utterly failing at it :(

guess we can add that to the long list of all the far-better things it's tried to copy and completely missed the point of what made them work in the first place

Speaking of, they couldn't come up with something other than the exact same aliens from the film attacking again? In the same manner no less? (Especially given the fact they looked even more ancient egypt-y why not instead have it be Kang's forces, that might've actually given us a good story, course given what we did get they'd probably've screwed that up to!).

Great job once again wasting an antagonist who has some particularly powerful potential (the best prior example being Molecule Man, and similarly Imp here can do transmutations [on people even]. btw this ep somehow managed to talk-down to its audience more than that "after-school special" did in its "This is the moral you the viewer should take away from this"; that I actually AM surprised by).

And while the shwarma scene in the Hyperion ep was just about as good an homage as you could manage (esp with this very lame series) that last bit in this ep just felt like an extra layer of insult (y'know on top of all the dumb that'd already led up to "Impossible-Nuke-Man", there are not enough facepalms in the world)

-Also this has to be the only time I'd "ve rather had Spidey (yes, even the USM-toon one) instead of Falcon; this just DID NOT work *smhmoreless
