    • TRIVIA (2)

    • QUOTES (12)

      • Henry: Now we're delivering babies.
Hawkeye: I hope it's not a boy, they'll draft him.

      • Henry: Organize some donors, Father, get plenty of blood.
Trapper: Yeah, you've just been promoted to vampire.
        Hawkeye: Turn in your cross.

      • (Frank's hernia operation is delayed because of incoming wounded)
Trapper: Listen up, Frank, we're promoting you from patient to doctor.
Hawkeye: It'll be easy, you just cut along the dotted lines.

      • Father Mulcahy: Klinger, the Lord moves in mysterious ways. But you take the cake.

      • Frank (telling Margaret about Hawkeye and Trapper): I don't tell you half their stunts. Did I mention the oatmeal in my gas mask?

      • Hawkeye: If my hands could talk, they'd scream. I'm raw from all the scrubbing.
Nurse: Why don't you see a doctor?
Hawkeye: How would you like a swift kiss in the mouth?

      • Trapper (looking skyward as the 4077 is shelled): Aw, shut up.

      • Radar: (on the phone) We're getting a lot of near misses here, could you find out who's doing it? (listens to the answer) You're doing it? Listen, buddy, we're a hospital! How would you like it if we fired patients at you!?

      • Trapper: (listening to Radar play the piano) Hey, Radar, don't you know another song?
Hawkeye: He doesn't even know that one.

      • Voice on P.A.: Attention, all personnel. Since there are no casualties again today, tonight's midnight movie will be seen at 9:00 o'clock this morning. Also, midnight will be cancelled.

      • Frank: (to Hawkeye and Trapper who are in gorilla costumes) I've had this condition that's needed attention for about ten years.
Hawkeye: Why do people always wait so long before they go to their gorilla?
Margaret: Will you be serious? This man has a hernia!
Frank: Um, uh, I'd like to, uh, ask you if you'd, uh, consider operating on me.
Hawkeye: One minute, I'll have to check with my colleague.
(both "gorillas" scream and crawl around for a few seconds)
Hawkeye: We'll do it--me and the missus.

      • Frank: (from inside crate) I'm boxed in!
Trapper: We all feel that way at times, Frank.

    • NOTES (2)

      • When Klinger comes into OR to report "a pregnancy problem," Hawkeye replies, "Who is he, Klinger? He's got to marry you." In the earlier episode "Officers Only," Klinger pretended to be pregnant. This is probably what Hawkeye was thinking of.

      • While Frank is under anesthesia, he hallucinates and calls Hawkeye "Fred". He also alludes to being a closeted homosexual when he asks "Fred" if the principal saw them.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Klinger makes a replica of actress Rita Hayworth's dress from the movie Gilda. He then sends a photograph of himself wearing the dress to a general to demonstrate how crazy he is.
