  • TRIVIA (1)

    • In this episode Major Houlihan implies that her father is dead. However in various episodes he not only sends her letters but comes to the 4077th.

  • QUOTES (7)

    • Frank: Oh, marriage isn't all that it's cracked up to be. Let me tell you honesty...no, marriage is probably the chief cause of divorce.

    • Frank: I just can't do it, Margaret, it just rubs against the grain. 'Neither a lender, nor a borrower be.' Polonius.
Margaret: 'To give and not count the cost.' Saint Ignatius Loyola.
Frank: 'The holy passion of friendship is of so sweet, and steady, and loyal, and enduring a nature, that it will last throughout a lifetime, if not asked to lend money.' Mark Twain.
Margaret: 'Blow it out your ear.' Margaret Houlihan.

    • Klinger: I only dress like this to get out of the Army.
Zale: You're too pretty. They'll never let you go.

    • PA Announcer: Attention, all personnel. Tonight's movie is a holdover from last week and will be shown right after supper...which is also a holdover from last week.

    • (during the lecture)
      Radar: (raising his hand) Sir?
Henry: Uh, we'll have questions after the lecture.
      Trapper: What about answers?
Radar: Well, I was just wondering, should I roll down the flaps so the nurses don't hear?
Henry: Uh, Radar, all the nurses have heard about sex.
Hawkeye: I know I've been spreading the word.
      Frank: Shut your face!
      Hawkeye: Kiss me.

    • Henry: (lecturing to the men about sex) We don't expect you to behave like monks. The army just wants you to be careful, so that you don't leave behind any little 'monklets.'

    • Trapper: What's the announcement, Radar?
Radar: It's a lecture. Colonel Blake's gonna tell us everything he knows about sex.
Hawkeye: That should be an enjoyable 60 seconds.
