  • Hawkeye pulls in Margaret...Finally

Hawkeye and Margaret have to go up to the 8063rd togather. They get there and discover that the unit has bugged out. Hawkeye turns around and gets lost on the way back to camp. Then the jeep brakes down and Hawkeye can't fix it. Typical Hawkeye! They hear voices in the woods and leave the jeep and watch as North Korians fix it and drive off. Of course Margarte is extremely mad at Hawkeye for being incepted at everything that a man is suppose to be able to do. Then they have to start walking. They started to get shelled and fleed into an old shack. While they're there Hawkeye and Margarte start to make-out passionatly. I personaly think that they had a love for each other ever since then.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • GOOF: When "Hot Lips" Houlihan and "Hawkeye" Pierce's jeep is  broken down, they had to hide because of four incoming North Korean soldiers. These soldiers all had AK-47s, which Chinese and North Korean troops never had in Korean war! Also, all the AK-47s don't have magazines on them!

    • When Hawkeye gets to the abandoned 8063rd, he decides to turn around. This is obviously a second take, because he turns around in the exact tire tracks of the previous take.

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Colonel Potter: As you were.
Hawkeye: I'm always as I were, but thanks anyway.

    • Margaret: (after Hawkeye fails to repair the jeep) How can a grown man be so mechanically incompetent?
Hawkeye: I take a lot of cabs.

    • Klinger: Major, we're both looking for that great exit sign in the sky. We're soul mates.
Winchester: What we are is cell mates. Beyond that minimal similarity there's a vast difference.

  • NOTES (5)

    • Burt Metcalfe received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series.

    • It is with this episode that we begin to see a change in Hawkeye and Margaret's relationship, especially when they kiss each other passionately. However, they still keep their relationship professional until the final episode when Hawkeye kisses Margaret just as she is about to leave.

    • Hawkeye says, "Don't blame me, I didn't write this stuff", which is funny since Alan Alda did write this episode.

    • This was the first 2-part episode of the series.

    • Radar does not appear in this episode. This was the first of 4 appearances by James Saito, in various roles. The last appearance was in episode 225.
