  • A touching and thoughtprovoking episode

A very touching episode, about celebrating christmas in a time where life and death becomes so closely intertwined that it's difficult to keep them apart. In one end Hunnicut, Hotlips, Mulcahy and Hawkeye is fighting to keep a soldier from dying on christmas eve. At the other end Charles is showing his charitable side when anonymously gifting candy to a local orphanage, without being aware of what the children could need is ordinary and simple food. Something the owner and proprietor of that orphanage teaches Charles in a most surprising manner. In the end the christmas message is made clear in a very simple manner, without using clichees, just a simple act of kindness. The last four fudges for four simple heroes.moreless
