    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Margaret complained that enlisted personnel can't go out or be in a relationship with officers. But according to army regulations, it's against regulations for anybody to be in a relationship with someone else in the army within the same chain of command.

    • QUOTES (8)

      • (Frank passes out after putting on cologne)
Hawkeye: Poor Frank. Just can't hold his chloroform.

      • Hawkeye: Without love, what are we worth? 89 cents. 89 cents worth of chemicals walking around lonely.
Henry: That means my marriage is only worth $1.78?

      • Hawkeye: (after Hot Lips blackmails Henry to break up Radar's romance) I wonder how Hot Lips would feel if I broke up her little romance with Frank Burns.
Henry: Now Pierce, I did not hear that. And if it comes to that, I will deny any involvement in or knowledge of that sort of sneaky, underhanded maneuver. (pauses) Do you think you can do it?

      • Hawkeye: What cures a man of a broken heart?
        Trapper: Heavy alimony?

      • Margaret: What are you doing in my bed?!
Hawkeye: The first one was too hard.
Trapper: And the second one was too soft.

      • (Hawkeye gives Radar some books to read)
Radar: War And Peace by Leo Tolstoy. War and Peace?
Hawkeye: Well, Tolstoy was very flexible. He went either way.

      • Anderson: I'll tell you how I feel about Tolstoy.
        Radar: (pointing) That's highly significant.
Anderson: I haven't said anything yet.
Radar: That's OK. I have confidence in you, Lieutenant.

      • (Pierce and McIntyre are in Houlihan's cot)
Hawkeye: And there's just one more thing...
        Hot Lips: (agitated) What?
Hawkeye: Who is this man in bed with me?
        Hot Lips: Oh!
Trapper: You don't know me. I followed you home from the movies.
        Hot Lips: Out!
