This is a pivotal show. Margaret gets married after waiting 8 months and Frank giving her a hard way to go about it. This is Larry Linville's last show. His last scene is where he is on the helicopter pad and after all have walked away after Margaret and Donald leave we see Frank saying a almost tearful goodbye to a chopper that is barely visible. This is the last episode we see Frank. He is involved in the next two shows but he is not shown. It would have been good if we could have actually have seen Frank on the other end of the telephone or at minimum heard his voice. I personally think this was a HUGE mistake by the show, but maybe Larry was not up for it. Its hard to believe that Frank is gone. We loved to hate his character, but that was the greatness of Linville. He played the part of Frank Burns to a T. Also hard to believe that the show is not even half over. We saw Frank Burns in 115 episodes and Charles in 130 episodes. I would have liked to see the character of Frank Burns continue for at least one more season. I always wondered what the interaction between Frank & Charles would have been. Overall a good & pivotal episode.moreless
