  • A Good Radar Episode.

    When Radar gets to take center stage in an episode it is typically a good one. Radar is one of the most well developed, best loved characters in TV history and M*A*S*H was not the same after he went home. This episode allowed Radar to get drunk on half a beer, shoot his bear (if you haven't seen the episode you will have to watch it to understand that) and do a pretty good John Wayne impersonation. Definetly a memorable half-hour of TV.
  • Goof regarding gun

    Margaret Claims that this is like a 1884 Colt-like her father had--but in fact it is a model 1917 revolver-also this and another later epsiode claim her father was a cavalryman-when in fact his nicknamed is "Howitzer Al" Houlihan {I.e. artilleryman}
  • Belly laugh funny because of Radar's antics. 16 hours later.....

    Whilst the main plot is about the loss of a treasured gun, and the usual idiotic behaviour of Burns, this episode shows Radar at his funniest yet.
    His drunken ramblings regarding his past are classic. I still can't pass a photo booth without thinking '16 hours'. There is a superb moment when we get to see the radar family clones, all looking suspiciously like radar, especially mom!! The hospitalsed general shows the usual distain for enlisted men and deserves all the flack he gets.
    As always Burns is a pain (verging on the rediculous) and Pierce wins the day (along with Radar).
