A massive congrats to Julie for taking out the MasterChef title. However, i thought Poh was going to win. She usually beats Julie in everything. Seeing as Australian television is all about ratings, i guess the producers made sure Julie won as she always crys, tells emotional stories, talks about her family... etc. I was surprised that Julie even made it to the final week of MasterChef and am still shocked that she managed to beat Chris. She dodged so many bullets and yet she ended up winning.

Here's our news story on the finale: http://www.tv.com/story/16606.html - highest rating reality show ever!

Personally, I don't think either of them should have been in the final but I suppose it made for good TV...
The poll we ran on the site in the days leading up to last night saw 51% vote for Poh to take out the title - like the actual show, it was very close!

Interested to see what they both do next...

Over here in England we've just watched Chris get knocked out, I personally don't think Poh should still be in the competition! She was given a second chance to do another dish in the early stages of the show, then after being knocked out later on was then given another chance. Who was she rooting on the show??????????
