3/3/74Lady Marjorie's mother visits Eaton Place and loses a valuable diamond pin. She demands that all the servants be searched. They are outraged, but their trust in each other begins to evaporate. -
2/24/74Nanny Webster is called in to look after Elizabeth's baby, but Sarah doubts her ability to look after a newborn child. -
2/17/74King Edward VII comes to dinner at Eaton Place, but then another guest arrives at the servants' entrance, in distress. -
2/10/74Elizabeth comes home to Eaton Place and says she wants a divorce because her marriage to Laurence has not been consummated. Sir Geoffrey Dillon advises that the judge will require the testimony of a gynacologist. -
2/3/74The Bellamys find out that James is in trouble with his regiment, heavily in debt, and carrying on an affair with Sarah. Sarah becomes pregnant, and the Bellamys call in Sir Geoffrey Dillon to sort things out. -
1/27/74The newly married Elizabeth and Laurence start to form a household, but soon the bride becomes unhappy. Meanwhile, the Bellamys' valet Thomas and their maid Rose fall in love. -
