  • James Evans makes his first appearance!

James Evans from Good Times makes his first appearance (although his name is Henry), but i was stoked watching this as a re-run today, seeing a main character of one of my fave child-hood shows.

In this episode we see first that Henry doesn't want Florida to work for white people, which seems to be BECAUSE of the racial difference, but Henry's heart comes out later when he explains to Florida that he wants her to not work so she'll be happy. Florida gets through to Henry that she IS happy working, she takes great pride in it. Walter clues in to Henry that Maude doesn't work, and she still isn't happy (jokingly, but the point is that not working doesn't make you happier).moreless
