  • Average fare - basic plot.

This episode portrays basic conflict - secrets held, blackmail, greed, fear, cowardice, revelations, et. al.

Wading through the tedious plotline was somewhat painful, but the acting help up well. Especially good was Gerald Mohr - showing again his versatility as a character actor. One aspect of watching these old shows is seeing the parade of actors in the infancy of their careers, or stars showing up in unexpectd roles. Phillip Terry in this episode reminded me of Marvin Miller in his classic role of Michael Anthony (the representative of J. B. Tilton - The Millionaire). Even though I was incorrect in my thinking Terry was Anthony, I have now embarked on a recollection and study of that wonderful old show.

Earlier Maverick episodes have featured stars such as Jacqueline Beer just months prior to her debut in 77 Sunset Strip, not to mendion Edd Byrnes (Kookie in the same series).
