At the beginning of the tour bus scene, we see a few women that resemble the young Elena in her flashback.

Miguel once bore a crush on Kylie but has - according to a flashback - revoked it in favor of another girl named Sara.

Maya's earring turns pink for a second.

First appearance of Tata, the twins' paternal grandmother.

In one scene at the school around the girls' table, Chrissy's headband is the same color as her hair.

When Robo-Theo first appears, his goggles are transparent. They then turn opaque for the dream sequence's remainder.

We see Elena as a child for the first time.

First time we see Rosa as a girl and Elena as a younger adult.

First time we see Santiago as a boy.

Miguel turned his head after losing the bat, but the video tape's footage shows he eyed the results the whole time.

The blond girl who first appears here is referred to as Julie but then in later episodes as Kylie.

When Maya falls asleep before having her dream, Paco sleeps next to her in the same bed. But when Maya wakes up from her dream, Paco is asleep on his perch.

The lady who comes to pick up the goldfish is referred to as Senora Lopez, which happens to be the same last name for the local baker and his niece.

When Theo comments on Jimmy as "Jimmy McLarge", when they show Maya's expression, the heart necklace has disappeared and the soccer ball also disappears.

When the teacher assigns a spot for Jimmy, she says "between Theo and Miguel" but when they show the desks, it's really between Maya and Miguel.

Maya plays the court jester. So why does Fabian keep referring to her as a "him"?

There has been no student council president at the school for 2 years until this episode.

Min sounds just like Paco until Maya, Miguel, and Theo discover her.

Rosa points out that her son is wearing non-matching shoes, which he is. Unless rushing around clouded his senses, he found the correct one seconds earlier.
