When Parker says that there's a Bible down below, McHale supposedly stomps on his foot and Parker reacts. However, Kate is standing between McHale and Parker, putting McHale several feet away from the ensign.
After McHale sees Kate off in New Caledonia, he goes back aboard the 73 and says Kate isn't such a bad dame. There's a camera cut to a different angle, and Willy who was behind Christy is now ahead of him. Virgil, who was standing to Parker's left, is now to right and directly behind McHale.
