While the 2 attempted rapes scenes and 1 murder scene were way more graphic than needed to tell the story, I really enjoyed the series. Kind of like 'The Prisoner' on steroids

Any word on a 2nd season? Wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't, maybe not quite mainstream enough. With luck, at the very least, it'll be picked up for a 2nd season in the UK and we'll eventually be able to rent it over here...

No way! I really enjoyed that show ... I was left hanging at episode 8 and didn't realize that was the end of Season One. Now I know why I gave up on tv!

I hate when shows get cancelled without a proper ending. I feel like I've wasted 8 hours of my life.

I read a article last week on digital spy saying channel 4 (UK) is not renewing Cape Wrath, thats what its called here, was hoping it would be renewed in the US.

Any show that wastes 3 hours of my life, I would hope gets canned. I can't believe how bad this show was. After 3 episodes you pretty much know if it's good or not. They could mash "John From Cincinnati" with "Meadowlands" in a blender and evenDavid Lynch would be unable to do anything to improve it. I doubt he could even make it worse. Cheers to cancellation! A rare correct one!

Aww, total bummer! I enjoyed the show. I dont consider it a waste of 8 hours, I just look at it like it wasn't actually a "show", it was a REALLY LONG MINI-SERIES! (or a really long movie!)

I'm so glad I finally know WTF "Cape Wrath" is! I've heard of it and never got a proper answer. I wonder why they have to name things differently for different countries? This isn't the only show that has had dual names between the US & UK.

At least this "mini" show wasn't as bad as the recent '5 Days' mini-series debacle on HBO. That show was also from the UK so who knows if it also has a different name.

Anyway, I do wish Meadowlands/Cape Wrathwould return, but I'm satisfied with the ending if that's all there will be.
