  • Are the writers getting sloppy or is NBC airing the episodes out of order?

    5.0
At the beginning of the season we see Ariel drive to school; a couple of episodes later we see Joe giving her her first driving lessons...At the beginning of this season we are led to believe that Joe has only 1 employee (who quits), and in this episode we see Joe at work with several people in his office. What's the deal?

Aside from the lack of consistency, the episode was a decent one. I did seem a little silly that the kidnapper, who was holding his previous victim for years, would make such a silly mistake as stepping in yellow paint.moreless
  • Allison has dreams of the Apocalypse which may or may not be directly to the murders of one family. Meanwhile Ariel is asked for help by a classmate who may be just using her.moreless

Another winner. The writings this season have done a decent job of putting together a couple of bizarre story lines. The possession storyline a couple of weeks ago and now this episode about the Apocalypse?

However, is this episode really about the Apocalypse or something else. Again you have to watch it the whole through and that's probably why I give it a high rating. I think other shows have great ideas but give away too much. Medium seems to have a balance by giving you what they want you to see and then surprise you.

Allison has a case about a family that was murdered but with no suspects and no dead bodies where does she go? Will she make sense of her dreams of the Apocalypse.

It was interesting to see the Allison and Joe at least ponder about the The End of the world. Allison did the right thing but then perhaps went way over the edge when she pondered buying a gun. Why is it when a crisis happens people always think a gun is the answer?

Once we saw who the killer is it'll have second guessing everything you might believe trusting someone supposedly looking out for you especially during the so called Apocalypse.

Meanwhile Ariel is asked by a classmate whose flunking Geometry for help. However, is he really needing her help or does he have ulterior motives?

We learn his motives later on and it's nice to see that the writers aren't making Ariel into a big slut. I mean most other girls or guys would look the other way if they were going to do something that isn't right just to gain the attention of a guy or girl. Ariel willing to let go then of the guy near the end was a great moment for her even though she didn't feel great about it.

Overall it's another must see episode of Medium.moreless

    • Allison: (comforting Ariel, who misjudged a boy she liked) Seems like a cruel trick, doesn't it, this thing we have? Doesn't really help, when it comes to people that we're close to or people we wanna be close to. It took me a while to figure out, but then I realized that whatever it is that's speaking to me, it speaks the clearest whenever I'm an innocent bystander. What's that old saying? A pool of water won't reflect unless it's absolutely still.
